Ultimate Staffing is seeking HR Compensation Analyst for a great company local in Orange County, CA!

Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite)
Payrate: $45-$50/hr.
Type: Temp to Hire
Hours: M-F 8:00-5:00 pm

About the role:
The Principal Compensation Analyst will be the primary point of contact for the company. Active partnership with our Manager of Compensation and a key resource for compensation programs such as merit, incentive, and equity programs. Plan, research, develop and implement compensation policies and programs to support the attainment of business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Evaluates present programs through research, surveys, and analysis of compensation trends and/or vendor management to evaluate competitive position as it relates to the company's strategy.
  2. Use job evaluation process to determine job requirements and prepare market data analysis to determine compensation program assignment (pay structures, variable pay, equity)
  3. Advise, educate and coach Human Resources and management on compensation programs and systems.
  4. Represent compensation and/or serve as project manager on specified initiatives.
  5. Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommend appropriate course of action.
  6. Participate in compensation and pay practice surveys by collecting and analyzing competitive pay information to evaluate competitive position as it relates to the company's strategy.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
6+ years' compensation analyst experience required

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and HRIS systems. Working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
